When the shop's closed, your phone still gets answered. Every after-hours call ends up as a complete message in your inbox, ready for your callback.
Customers call when the car acts up, and that doesn't follow your hours. Someone hears a noise on the drive home, a warning light comes on in the evening, or a car won't start in the morning before you open. If those calls hit voicemail, you're counting on the caller to leave a good message and wait for you.
No Missed Repairs answers instead. It started as the after-hours line for a working BMW and MINI shop, Cooper & Bimmer Experts in Irwindale, California, because its owner got tired of missing those calls.
You keep your shop's number. We set up your receptionist and give you its number, and you forward your shop line to it when you're closed. You can also forward when you're busy or don't pick up during the day. Forwarding is set with your phone company or phone system, and we'll send you the steps.
Each after-hours call becomes an email with the caller's name, callback number, vehicle, problem, whether the car is drivable, a summary, and the full transcript. There's a recording link good for 7 days. Spanish calls include an English translation. Instead of replaying voicemails and writing down numbers, you open your inbox and start calling back.
It flags urgent calls so they stand out. If a caller mentions an injury, a fire, a crash with injuries, or anyone in danger, it tells them right away to hang up and call 911, gives no medical advice, takes only a name and number, and marks the email URGENT. It is not an emergency service and doesn't call 911 for anyone.
It won't quote prices, diagnose the car, or promise an appointment time, and it doesn't book appointments. It answers basic questions about your shop, like your hours and address, from the info you give us, and takes the message so your team can call back when you open.
Every call starts by saying it's an AI and that the call is recorded, in English and Spanish. Some states, including California, require everyone on a call to be told it's recorded. You're responsible for using it in a way that fits your state's rules, so ask your attorney if you're unsure.
Due at sign-up: $199 setup plus the first month, $298 total. Each call is rounded up to the next whole minute. See the price comparison on the homepage.
No Missed Repairs is run by Ben Parker, owner of Cooper & Bimmer Experts, a BMW and MINI shop in Irwindale, California. He built it for his own after-hours line first and now sets it up for shops outside his area.
